So, I've tried to paint a fractal according to =ChaosFissure but kinda failed... I had the nice cloudy sky fractal and then I was like WHOA!! look at dat spiral! No more skies, we're gunna make some spiralz! And starzzz! And pink colourz to make it look totally insane!
I think I'm going crazy from all the studying for finals...
Thank you for all favourites, comments, critiques and devwatches! It means a lot to me.
It's beautiful! I have to look at your other work. I hope some printing press person sees what possibilities this has for gift wrapping paper and wants to buy this and anything you can produce... (Is it possible to make it a repeating pattern? Otherwise it'll just have to be luxury wrapping paper, you know, the kind that comes in sheets.) But first I wish you good luck with your exams!
Thank you It is possible to make a seamless pattern, the difficult part is getting a company to print and sell it. Most companies would rather buy cheap stock images instead of hiring an artist to create something custom...
Haha I imagine you eating a giant cotton candy Kiyoshi, as for the Skype, I log in few times a week. I am now buried under books and studying materials because I am supposed to finish the degree this semester - which brings a looot of work. Many of my classmates actually add an extra semester so that they won't die of stress
Thank you I actually had a weird feeling about them too... I think that I like them because they draw attention to the endless spiral shape and kind of guide me through the image But I see that they might definitely disturb some people... I still don't know if they should or should not be there either
You're very welcome. Part of me thinks they could be a little distracting because it doesn't blend in with the rest of the picture. But then part of me thinks it's a nice touch that gives it another dimension. Either way it's lovely!!!!
I was offered some at Prodigy concert in Prague when I was like 15 or something which is even funnier because I must have looked like 12-year old back then... well, maybe it's more weird than funny but whatever I didn't take it and enjoyed the music anyway
Awesome, I love the delicate colours, and I love cotton candy. Haha, I can relate about the studying for the finals. All of a sudden I've got million ideas for new paintings, I've read loads of tutorials and I'm in a very productive mood.
Cool Yeah, one sure way to get rid of an art block is start studying a difficult college (I usually save tutorials that I want to try out later on my desktop, during exam period and finals my desktop gets so spammed with tutorials that I have to put them in a folder )
