Description

Software used: Apophysis

I was up to creating a flower on white background. That effort was doomed when I accidently inverted the colours :D
Anyway, everything is quite fine this summer. There is much hope and happiness in my life now but also a little bit of fear ( - see that black hole in the middle of the petal? yeah, that's it)...
I just baked a gluten-free bread in my oven :XD:... totally random fact but somehow important step in my life :)

Thank you for all favourites, comments, critiques and devwatches! :rose: It means a lot to me.

I'm always fascinated about the fractal-art one can do with apophysis! =lucid-light was able to make a really nice and interesting picture with it. But as I had some things to complain about showing in my ratings, I would like to go into more detail about this now.

To talk about vision first, I think the gloomy atmosphere and the black hole representing your fear are really nice fitting and the glittering leading to the title "stardust" makes a nice association with a space-picture. Even though it started as a flower here it is really a fascinating piece and you can almost feel the fear within it.
However, what I miss would be bright and happy tones standing for your hope and happiness when this is really a representation of your current feelings. Wouldn't it be that the stardust itself should be the main-point as pointed in the title but comes a bit short here for that. Wouldn't that be your vision either there are no more clues to me what it would be.
So, for the nice representation of fear with a space-like-picture I would like to give 3.5/5 stars for vision.

Well, originality isn't the strongest thing here. It is a nice picture and nice color-choice but you already made very similar pictures, one is even linked within the description. The Glitter and black-hole are nice and original elements, but nothing that stands out greatly. The different colors are the most differentiating element here, making distance to other similar pictures of you and others.
So, because of that only 3/5 stars for originality.

However, in contrast to that you did a really good job in technique! There are a lot of details (fitting ones, not just some common texture) and the blur makes a really 3D-feeling to he picture. It has great depth and nice color-gradients! The red spot at the top is a bit disturbing, but I don't quite know how you made it there... should be easily removable with PS or gimp.
So, for the fractal itself (minus red dot^^) I would like to give you 5/5 stars for technique

Impact is always hard to reason as it stands for emotional links on the first few sights... I think it has a nice composition and tone to it but it's not that a thrilling or exciting picture I would like to hang a print of somewhere, so I guess 4/5 stars for impact is reasonable.

So, concluding this is a well done and emotional fractal with a little lack in originality and a vague vision behind it that is really nice to look at.
