Long time no see, sorry :( I've been working on a certain project which I can't discuss with anybody (yet).

I wanted to go back in time a little bit, so I chose white background and intricate pattern :) I might make more of these... would you like me to?

EDIT: posting to Apo-Weekly-Challenge's Challenge no 24 - Mobius Variation (params available on request)

Hello! I'm critiquing and representing MiniatureDA, so here goes. I do not know much about fractal art but it is obviously meant to be intricate and representative of mathematical ratios and harmonies, which this piece shows. From a formal perspective, this piece has strong elements of texture, color, and line. The texture comes from the infinite curls and loops of the fractal shapes and the lines used are sharp and fine, perfectly curved, creating shapes that fold in on themselves and bloom and rotate. The cool and warm colors are very light, bright, and especially in the center of the image, help create a sense of depth in the piece. The balance of the composition is only slightly off-center, which, along with the other elements of the image, give it a sense of swift movement and gyration. The rhythm this piece creates is interesting; cyclical, spinning, the viewer is gliding into the fractal. I feel that there are several colors, or at least several different (light) values, in the bottom half of the image that make it look more full and give it more depth, and the top half is lacking that. So the image is bottom-heavy, if that's possible, and the top right corner may benefit from another color or more layers of fractals. Otherwise, I really like the energy that the core of the spinning shape has, it looks heated up and glowing and as if it is counteracting the cooler icy shapes, or maybe turning into them. It's beautiful and something I could never do. :)
