I rarely have the time to participate in community events, and sometimes even if I'd like to, fractal art is not the best medium. This was fun because it reminded me of coloring books, I used to love them as a kid. Using the template was a true challenge, I gotta admit, because I almost never make fractal manipulations. Let alone trying to fit one into a template

As DA is celebrating 17th year of existence, I should celebrate my 11th year here. For me as an individual it sounds crazy to be a (somewhat) active member of anything for over 11 years. I can't imagine being a founder of said community and celebrating its 17th birthday. DA has had its ups and downs but I still find it a remarkable achievement for those people who set out 17 years ago to create it, no matter the state of it today. I hear a lot of disgruntled voices, I've seen activity of members drop rapidly, especially after Facebook became the social media giant it is today. Still, there are lots of active and kind people around here and I'm always happy to drop in every once in a while For now, there is no other site like DA and the fact that over the years nobody managed to create a competing one is saying something.
